About NAKLIV
NAKLIV (National Cluster of Information Literacy) is European project authorized within the Operational program Education for competitiveness and it is granted by the Division of Information and Library Studies, Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University.
The main goal of the project is to establish informal partnership of institutions which are dealing with information literacy and which decided to gain profits from mutual cooperation. As the output of the project the modern environment for communication and education of non-pedagogical employees (librarians), academic employees and graduants. The effective cooperation will be supported, the sharing of materials is expected and so is the exchange of knowledge between cooperating institutions. The interconnection of the education sector and practical life will be reached, mainly by cooperation of branch experts whose experiences from labour market will enrich the academic environment.
The aim of the project
The main aim of the project is to found the cluster and to tie up the functional cooperation between all participating institutions. The institutions involved in the project have wide experiences with information education, but all their activities in this field had individual character.
NAKLIV will integrate those activities and will grant the support for the cooperation of all participants. In the framework of the project the seminaries and workshops will be created and those will develop skills and competences of lecturers of information literacy.
The participants of the seminaries:
- will gain new and actual information from the field of information education
- will learn how to cooperate and share information, knowledge and experiences
After the graduation from the courses the absolvent will be fully competent for extending new knowledge. And so the secondary aim of the project is to increase of the quality of the information education for the university and college students.
Due to the project activities the widespread net of the partners will be founded. Those partners will be able to communicate effectively, work systematically and benefit from the using of modern tools for creation and administration materials for the support of information literacy.
